are you hooked now? LOL

I bought some X rated.  Not spooled yet.  Over a year old.  A guy I fish with spooled it and used it.  he liked it.  Strong too from what he said.

Another guy uses alot of perlon but he uses 4lb.  He really brags about it.  He is getting me some in it and I'm going to try it.

So I know I'm not much help but thats what I do know. ;D

Well E.

I tried them both in 15lb line.  The Xrated seemed a little more limp then the CXX.

I also used a knife and my thumb to drag across the line.  Th Xrated did not curl as bad as the CXX.

From the simple test I did I like the X rated line better.  It hasnt went throught the fish test yet though.

pretty close to the same in streach.

The cxx seemed to have more memory.

i wouldnt say more. i can say that it did really well and casts like a dream. i think late summer it'll be more because of the smaller diameter. i just hope this line doesnt go 'stale' like vanish.

Stale like vanish.  Nah.  Vanish never went stale it came stale. Haa haa.

I fixed the same spool of line for the last 2 years.  No problem.  Just keep the spool in a cool dry place.

So far its my favorite.

I should have stock in triple fish.

You and me both.  I lost more lures in 5 casts then that crap sold for.

I think it was a Nicholz spinnerbait, bandit crank, and a jerkbait.

I havent bought berkley line since then.

Yo-Zuri Hybrid !   8)

you know, i bought some of that a long time ago and it was really tough as nails and very low stretch. so, i goes on sale at bps a while back and i bought 3(i think) spools of it, got it in and went to fish with it and it was like regular old mono. in other words: like fishing with a rubber band. have you had this happen before?
