Walmart Fishing Lures On Clearance

NONE OF THESE WERE OVER $2.50, SCOUTS HONOR!!!!

That's what I NEED to tell the wife!  And to think the wife sent me there to buy milk...Gotta MAN UP & tell her that I "spent" a "little" more than groceries...this is going to be a little "uncomfortable"...I "hope" she understands that all these lures were over half off...oh this is going to be "uncomfortable"...I don't believe in the bait monkey, I own up to bad judgement & walking inside Walmart when they have fishing stuff on clearance!  ;D

OUCH!!!

Most of this stuff I wouldn't have bought even if I've seen them on the shelves cuz how much they really are, but at $0.75-2.50 ea; what fisherman in their right mind would pass up deals like this??? >:D ???

I think it was last year... I bought a ton of marked down stuff at both wally world and K-mart. Skirts, bullet weights, dropshot weights, a few lures, line, even a life jacket for a total of about 20 bucks. ;D

What!?...no rods!?  ;D

Looks like you reeled in a few good deals!

Nice deal on those, that's for sure!

Never have figured out why NO ONE has ever named a frog bait "knee-deep" :D :shrug

Every once in a while the Wal-mart by me will have some real sweet deals.  About two years ago I picked up 5 or 6 super spots for about $1.50 each.

Miracles never cease!   Was just at Walmart and they had two (yes, only two ::) ) packs of the Gammy 6/0 EWG Monster hooks, so I got 'em both  :crazy345  .   Those things are huge!   I also took a look at the few jigs they carry, but decided that I'm gonna spoil myself right off the bat and order from GMAN!   8)

I was at one walmart yesterday and got a bunch of blue fox spinners for 1.00 a piece and some trilene xl line in 10,12,17 and 20 lb test for 2.00 for 330 yards. Gonna go to the other walmart today and see what they have.

Our Walmart has a couple of shelves of assorted clearance stuff and they are getting rid of all their Yo-Zuri Hybrid line, which is what I use (in 8#).  The only problem is the line weights they have are all 12# & 25# test, which I don't use.   Looks like I may have to order the 8# Yo-Zuri stuff on-line when it comes time to get some.

The store has done a reset of their fishing dept. and it sucks in my opinion.  Looks like they've spread everything out to make it look larger, but it's actually less items as far as terminal tackle items and tackle boxes.  More hard-case boxes than soft-sided now.  This store has always been lacking in their fishing gear.

Wow nice haul!  I too have been finding assorted crankb8s and such at my local wal-mart.  My wal-mart doesnt carry much for frogs, with I could get a find like that!
