That's actually a tough question for me to answer, because I cant think of anything that just stands out from the rest.

I guess it would have to be my usual Joes BassSnacks Finesse worm on a shakey head style jig.

Berkley power tube in smoke color.(spring)

I had a horrible summer....nothing was even productive.Very fusterated.

So far...fall ain't looking good either. It's already dipping in the 40's for a low.

Magic lures don't exist.

2011 count:
Small mouth Bass:62
Largemouth Bass:23

The best set up this year so far has been a vertical (12-25' deep) drop-shot rig. Also, The finesse worm and jighead rig have worked ok this year too. I have not done any good on a buzzbaits, or any topwater for that matter, this year  :'(.

In a post at the end of last year or the beginning of this year here?? asked what you'd be trying this year. I've stuck to my guns on the drop-shot rig and I'm improving with it thank Goodness, but it seems my other tactics and common "lures" have taken a back seat.  :( I know, other than the first of the year, I haven't done ANY good on topwater baits at all!! Well, one here, one there +/- ;)

Plastic or jigs only for me. Sweet Beavers and Paca Craws used as trailers or with just a heavy weight. It has been a very poor year for me also. What fishing time I have had has been spent really working to get a bite!

My fishing season was seriously and severely halted with a broken ankle. I don't think I went out more than ten times this whole season.

My home lake has been brutal and haven't even caught a dink.

I tried those few times to get "jiggy" (trying to get my first jig catch) with it but to no avail.

I toss, my drop shot rig, and wham. The DS and I get along too well almost anywhere.

Most Effective and Productive: Drop Shot.
Next: Homemade inline spinners

Season: 10 smallies, 0 largemouth, 6 rainbow trout = pathetic season, worst ever.  :'(

All but 3 trout (81%) were caught on the drop shot.

This year hands down, Gman's 3/4 oz black poison jig, with one of my newer 3" claw chunks ;)

2) Spro bronze eye frog Jr
