I always run trailer tires instead of car tires.  They seem to have firmer sidewalls.  I am running ST215-75R14s on my Champion trailer.  The company I buy from offeres free rotation every 6,000 miles.  I have mine rotated every 6 months and they take a look at the tires, brakes, etc while they are at it and tell me how everything looks.

I have trailer tires but plan to switch to car tires. I seem to have bad luck with trailer tires. The sidewalls rot out too fast.

I only need 2 tires. I use trailer tires . I agree with Jig Man on the firmer sidewalls. The Goodyear Marathons do not impress me for the price. I did not get good service from them. I replaced them with Hercules brand trailer tires for about half the price and have been very satisfied so far.
