What do you use on the wipedown after pulling out of the water? Just a wet rag?

If I pull my aluminum boat out of the lake and it's got some scum around it I usually wipe it done with a damp cloth.  Have found that the inexpensive packs of cotton "diapers" found in WalMart automotive dept work well; plus you can throw them in the wash and use them quite a few times.

Thanks for the tips. I was advised that the previous owner used some stuff called "bass boat saver". I appears to do a real good job. Gonna have to get me some pretty quick.

If I remember to wipe down I just use a terry cloth towel right after I pull it out of the water boat still kinda wet while I'm draining the water out of the motor.

I don't do anything at the lake.  When I get home I use Restore on the cap and sides of the boat, windex type stuff on the wind shields, Lime Away on the motor and jack plate, Westley's Bleach White (then Armour All) on the tires.

When I am camped, I only use Restore and the window cleaner before I put the cover on.

Here you go Jack:   :)

http://www.bassboatsaver.com/index.html

Their site also has the locations of retailers by state.  I keep thinking that BPS carries it, but couldn't find it in their catalog or on-line.

Birmingham is the closest retailer of it, JackJ. Marks outdoors is what I was told. (30 bucks a gal. ?)Shoot!, call North river and L&L, see if they have it.(or I will??)

Hey JackJ. BBS.com has a large quantity size...want to get one or two more in on it and say split it up. No ship'n and (3)free spayers to boot?

I looked on e-bay but was same as website price really.

Goood stuff! works on all surfaces too!

I'm in, any ideas on the other splits? Are you trying to get a gallon OR MORE for yourself, JackJ? A gallon will last a season from the info I've gotten. H?&T? maybe?

One gal. will probably do me this go-round.
